Cost and risk
"Receive tokens at no extra cost" is accurate — it means you aren't paying cash for the tokens. It does not mean participating is free. This section is about the gap between those two statements, and about the two places where people most often lose money along the way.
- 01The real cost: opportunity, spread, fees, attention
Four cost structures across four lines, from almost nothing to a running daily expense. Treating them as one thing is the most common mistake here.
- 02Fake airdrops and fake support staff
A claim page, a signature request, a helpful stranger in your DMs, a token that appeared by itself. Four methods, and one rule that replaces knowing any of them.
- 03Binance Web3 Wallet and your exchange account are not the same thing
One has someone to call when things go wrong; the other doesn't. And two of the four lines require the wallet.
